PLACID

My friend's Dad is so placid, he never shows practically any emotion. The only time I really do see him exited and emotional is at his son's wrestling meets and baseball games.

EMPATHY

I think that empathy is a great thing to have friends that have empathy for you. From something small like wiping out on a skateboard, to my grandma dying. The reason I think it's great is because they understand what you are going through and can feel what you're feeling.

MISOGAMY

I never really understood someone with misogamy. I mean it's such a happy day and it is such a fun celebration, that I can't understand why someone could hate it.

DYSLEXIA

Probably the most common reading disability is dyslexia. This is a disorder where you have a hard time interpreting words, letters or symbols. One of my friends went to Schenck to help him with the disability.

PHOBIA

When people are little they are generally afraid of the dark. When you grow older people develop fears that are fairly strange or common. The amount of phobias are endless from acrophobia, the fear of heights, to metro phobia, which is the fear of hatred of poetry.

ODIOUS

I remember the time when I was little and I didn't have to take a shower everyday. One summer when I was about six my friend and I went to a sleep away camp for a week. At the camp a kid dared my friend to go a whole week without showering. When he got home his mom was furious at him. She would not let him go inside until he took a bath in the backyard, because he was so odious and disgusting.

PHILANTHROPY

Bill Gates is one of the most famous philanthropists in the world because he gives up so much of his money. He actually gives millions or billions of dollars to charity each year.

HYDROPHOBIA

Many people in America have hydrophobia. Like my friend's little brother is afraid of water, which is funny because they go to their lake house a lot.

ACROPHOBIA!!!!!!!!!!

When I was about 8, I got a bad case of acrophobia. Not the heights like roller coasters or planes, but things like a tall ladder or rock climbing. The reason was when I was 8 years old I went to my friend's birthday party at Atlanta Rocks, which I was so exited about because I love rock climbing. We were there for a while but then I went up the hardest one with the automatic spotter. I reached the top but on the way down it snapped. I fell about 10-15 feet onto the ground, right on my back and my head. I was unconscious for about 30 seconds. When I woke up I had one of  the worst pains of my life; I could barely move. Until I was in 6th grade I never rock climbed or went up ladders. When I was in 7th grade I got over that fear but I still get a little shaky when rock climbing.
