EFFACE

In the book Night, it discusses what Jewish people went through during the Holocaust. The Holocaust was a time period where Nazis in Germany tried effacing the Jewish race from the Earth. They thought that if they destroyed all of them and wiping them from existence it will create a better world.

CAPITALIST

The people that have stocks in companies would be considered capitalists. The reason that people invest in companies through stocks is because people hope that if they give money, that the company will become very wealthy. This will mean that they will get a portion of the money, the size depends on the amount of money you invested.

AFFRONT

In today's society people are constantly affronting others. Whether it is at school, home, on the field or in a movie; it is constantly happening. At one point the most common way of affronting someone was Yo Mamma jokes and insults.

DECAPITATE

In the Renaissance, the most efficient and most popular way of executed someone was to decapitate them. They used to use an axe or sword until the French came up with the guillotine, which was used for more important executions like a mass murderer or even royalty.

DEFACE

In the film The Dark Knight, Harvey Dent is the city's DA. The Joker takes him and straps him near oil barrels about to blowup. He accidentally falls over and gets oil on his face. Batman rescued him just in time but they were near the explosion and Harvey's face caught on fire and was defaced beyond prepare. This led him to become the famous villain, Two-Face.

DELUSION

A couple years ago, in the summer, my friends and I were playing football and ran out of water but just kept playing. After a several hours in the immense heat, one of my friends starting to have delusions because he was so dehydrated. All of us would grab some water from the water fountain and keep playing but he always said he didn't need any. He started seeing multiple different things that were not actually there and so we had to carry him up the hill and to my house so he could get some water because the water fountain did not have enough water flow. That day he had to go to the hospital and get an iv because his body was lacking so much liquid and electrolytes.

POTABLE

The summer going into 6th grade my family and I went to Europe. While we were there I learned many things, one of them is in certain places of Europe, the water is not potable. This made it sometimes hard because we had to go buy bottled water because you could get sick from drinking the water from the tap.

CARNIVOROUS

Many animals in the jungle kingdom are carnivorous creatures. This makes them much more dangerous because they may try to eat you, as you are meat. The animals that are carnivorous are generally faster and stronger animals because they have to be able hunt to catch their food.

CUISINE

In America we have good cuisines. Some of the cuisines we have are steak, hot dogs, and cheeseburgers. All countries have different cuisines that are related to their homeland.

COLLUSION

Many police officers are in collusions with drug lords or mob leaders. The reason for this is that they are paid a lot of money and they will be left alone by secretly helping them.
